A few months ago in August last year, a severe rainstorm hit the three Northen Regions (Upper East, Upper West and North) of Ghana.
The rains destroyed properties worth millions of cedies and displaced children and families in the regions concern.
There were weeks of flooding which impacted very negatively not only on the social landscape but on the economy.
The three Northern regions of Ghana supplement the economy with agricultural and farm produce which were washed down by the flood.
